OMFG I have a viruses the world is gonna end!!!...This is a another pet peave of mine. Yes viruses are bad, and not every one of those chain letters you get in your email that say do not open any message with the subject: yada yada...forward to everybody so they will not get this virus...99% of the time these are just chain letters.. DO NOT SEND THEM TO ME.....
A word on protection

You have no viruses, malware, Ad-aware and spyware now..lets keep it that way..To be safe from emails do not open ones from unknown users and delete them them as soon as possiable do not be tempted with: You could win 1million dollors (---Trash it..As far as web surfing your gonna need to download some programs to help keep you safe and clean which I have listed below....Actually as you surf the web alot of people have listed programs that claim to help you...and most of the time they help you get viruses...So if you decide to download something(games, applications) make sure it is from a trusted source. Internet Explorer(The Big E) has improved and helps keep you safe...If you are running the latest and greatest version you should have gotten a warning about Active X controls on this page...If not check you setting and version. FireFox is another web browser that has become popular and is more secure and has ad-aware and virus protection buit into it....It is a little more complicated to use with the extensions and what not, but there home page tells you how to use it...

Software I use

I use 5 main programs to help make my PC stay virus free...And the best part about them is you can get them all for FREE...

AVG Antivirus<--Click Me
Antivirus software with several options..Set it up to scan once a day while at work
or asleep...

ZoneLabs<--Click Me
This is a firewall it basically is like a wall you control which programs can access the internet and what programs can access you computer....After downloading and installing you will have to do some manuall set up just make sure you read the instructions and it will get you done in a breeze...After install the first time you try to access the internet with a new program you will be asked to deny or allow the program access..

Ad-Aware<--Click Me
This basically scans your computer for those damn ads that keeps poping up unexpected
or spyware that is tracking your computer...I run this about once a week.

CCleaner<--Click Me
This is a all around computer cleaner it will clear your internet history, cache, and cookies..Becarefull though if you have Windows set up to automatically save passwords it has been known to erase those.

Microsoft Defender<--Click Me
I'm not a big fan of micro$oft and the products they put out...They take alot of
control from the user but they have managed to come up with a pretty decent spyware
blocker and cleanere that I would recommend....
